内容提要：

Using household survey data, we demonstrate that individuals overreact to new information regarding personal income, supporting the theoretical framework of diagnostic expectations (DE). We incorporate this expectation formation rule into the standard permanent income hypothesis (PIH) model with incomplete information. Our model captures the empirical reversal dynamics of consumption responding to income shocks and highlights important welfare implications related to welfare losses caused by behavioral distortions. Finally, we compare DE with robustness control and show their observational equivalence within these frameworks.

尹鹏辉，中央财经大学中国经济与管理研究院助理教授，博士毕业于德国法兰克福大学。主要研究领域包括行为宏观经济学、预期形成与管理、家庭金融等。论文发表在Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organizations等领域。主持一项国家级项目和一项省部级项目。
